Pumping Mobil Test Unit (MTU)



MTU (Mobile Test Unit) 300 Q-5H Pump. Equipped with: Quintuplex pump, Caterpillar 3406 Diesel stationary working engine (Industrial continuous), fuel tank 4000 liters with level sight, hole with top lid for 60 cm inspection diameter, outlet for engine consumption, return fuel inlet and bottom outlet for water drainage. 60 "x 120" Horizontal Reservoir, Maximum Reservoir Operating Pressure 240 PSI, Vertical 26 "x 72" Separator Vessel Maximum Operating Pressure 300 PSI and Murphy Control Panel.


Power Fluid Unit:
 Power Fluid Unit: horizontal pump with flange kit for field connection, 1 7/8 "tungsten carbide plungers with Kevlar type gasket, to move 4100 BBLS / day to 3855 PSI at discharge, pump for lubrication of drip pistons, stainless steel lubrication transport tubing, gear reducer with a ratio of 4.38: 1, (2) lubricant level switches L-129-CK, high pulsation damper Pressure relief valve, relief valve with adjustable set point, Oilmaster pressure control valve.

Container Unit: 60 "diameter x 120" long horizontal tank, 41 barrel volume, weight 9900 lbs. , working pressure 300 PSI, vertical separator vessel 26 " diameter x 72" length, 4.33 barrel volume, maximum working pressure 300 PSI, both containers have been designed according to ASME code and internally coated with Epoxy carbon tar 12 mil thick and have two glass visors to observe the fluid level, safety relief valves placed on top of them. ½ "Connections for manometer installation, the two containers have an elliptical inspection hole of 11" x15 "in the separator and 14" x18 "for the accumulator vessel.

Cleaning Unit: 2 hyldrocyclones with interchangeable nozzles are associated with the equipment, as are the 2 "differential pressure and flow control valves at the outlet of the reservoir. Hydrocyclones have the ability to remove solid particles from the fluid going to the suction of the quintuplex pump. They also have valves in the drains to have the option to work with open or closed cyclones, depending on the condition of the feed fluid.

Piping system: 100 ft. x 2.0” x 10,000 PSI piping with corresponding chick sans (with quick blow-off connections) to direct piping as required. All equipment described; Power unit, Container unit, and Cleaning and support unit for 100 Ft. x 2.0” x 10,000 PSI, are assembled on metal skids and mounted on a self-transportable platform, the sides which have walkways for operator mobilization.

Murphy Control Panel: Contains two pressure gauges with upper and lower switch-off for both the discharge pressure and the inlet pressure of the quintuplex. It also has indicators with switch-off for engine oil temperature and pressure.

The measures of the auto transportable platform are:  Length = 14 mts. X width = 2.40 mts. High x = 4.10 mts.

 Dowhole Jet Pump

The down hole jet pump has no moving parts, the carrier which can be circulated in and out of the housing, transports the nozzle and mixing tube which are the only parts subject to wear. If the surface system has proper strainers to clean power fluid, theoretically the nozzle life is infinite; the mixing tube will be exposed to the produced fluids and the accompanying solids content.

High flow capacity although small in physical size, the Coleman jet pump allows higher production rates due to low internal pressure drop.

No Moving parts:
The nozzle and mixing tube which are the only parts subject to wear.
